Welcome to Bursted Wood Surgery Bexley
We now have our own facebook page where we will give out information on the surgery and local events that are taking place in the NHS
Why does the receptionist need to ask whats wrong with me?
Our reception team are important members of the practice team and it has been agreed they should ask patients 'why the need to be seen'
We have trained our reception staff to ask questions to help make sure you receive
- the most appropriate medical care
- from the most appropriate health professional
- at the most appropriate time
Reception staff, like all members of our team, are bound by patient confidentiality
The 2021/2022 Flu clinics are now available to book at the surgery.
Please contact reception to book your appointment or walk in
we are doing flu clinics daily
We have clinics available through the week please contact the surgery to book an appointment.
When attending the surgery please continue to wear a face mask and DO a LATERAL FLOW TEST before attending for a face to face appointment.
Our purpose built Surgery, which opened in 1986 provides, in addition to the consulting rooms, a large and comfortable waiting area with a specially designed children's play area.
Access - Car Parking
There is a free car park adjacent to the Surgery, which is for patients and surgery staff.
The Practice has limited access for wheelchairs via a ramp from the car park to the main entrance. We can also provide a portable ramp for further assistance at the doorway into the Surgery. You may telephone reception in advance of your visit for this to be in place for your visit.
