The Bursted Wood Surgery Patient Participation Group is made up of patients of the surgery who are working along with the practice to improve surgery services for the mutual benefit of all.
We are looking for new virtual members to join this group ,this will mean passing information and suggestions onto our PPG chairman on how we can improve our service.
This is a self-funding group.
It is important that we have patient surveys so we get feedback reguarly and that the PPG feeds back to the surgery any suggestions or recommandations from patients. We currently have some patient surveys in our waiting room so please take time to complete one.
Please note this is not a complaint forum, individual complaints will not be discussed during these meetings all complaints must be directed straight to the practice manager during working hours following the complaint procedure.
Future plans
We hope that the group will be able to provide health promotion events at the surgery to support some of the patients who are on our at risk or long term disease registers.
We have already had a couple of tea /coffee mornings at the surgery to help support some of our patients during a difficult few years which was very successful and we are now looking to provide walking groups and tea/coffee mornings for our patients on a regular basis.
If you have any suggestions for future events or would like to become involved with the group, big or small, please let them know, any ideas are always welcome.

The group have a post box in the hallway at the surgery and PPG notepaper in reception for you to write on. Alternatively, you can write to them at the surgery and we will pop it in the box for you or you can
