COVID-19

Your general practice team are here for you. We are continuing to provide services as we have been doing throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are prioritising delivery of care and services based on clinical needs. If you need medical advice or treatment, please ring us on 0208 301 1766 or, for non-urgent advice or treatment, visit our website and send us your query via e consultation  – our opening hours are 08.00-18.30. If you need to visit the practice in person, please follow social distancing guidelines and do not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Please continue to wear a face mask when attending the surgery. Please Do a LATERAL FLOW TEST before attending a face to face appointment at the surgery.

When you phone or go online, you will be asked to provide some information about your healthcare need. This will help the practice healthcare team assess the most appropriate way to provide your care, which may include a face-to-face consultation and ensure it is provided by the most appropriate person.

Face-to-face appointments are available to patients where there is a clinical need . Consultation requests for non-urgent help can be made online. They will be responded to as soon as possible, usually within two working days. Alternatively, visit the local pharmacy for clinical advice on minor health concerns. For urgent issues or out of hours, you can also call the NHS on 111 or go online to seek NHS advice 111.nhs.uk

Appointments are being offered face-to-face, by telephone, or using video calls and messaging to your mobile or computer – the practice team will assess what is most appropriate for you and if you have a preference you can discuss this with them.

Attending a face-to-face appointment If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering.

A LATERAL FLOW TEST is required before your  face to face appointment appointment

Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery. If you have a disability or condition which means you cannot wear a face covering or cannot communicate with someone who is wearing a face mask, or require other adjustments before your appointment,please let the surgery know ahead of your arrival.

Important information regarding your covid-19 vaccination status proof.

The surgery is unable to issue a letter or certificate confirming your vaccination status for overseas travel. Please see Government guidance for further information. Proof of your vaccination status is visible within the NHS app, which is available for Apple and Android devices.

Alternatively, you can call the NHS Covid-19 helpline on 119 and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least five days after you have completed your course of the vaccine, the letter may to take up to seven days to reach you.

Please check Foreign Office and local travel advice for specific details of whether proof of vaccination status is accepted at your destination. The majority of countries, including the UK, still require arrivals to participate in a Covid-19 testing, isolation and/or quarantine regime, regardless of your vaccination status.

Coronavirus & Face Coverings

Please call 119 for a  exemption certificate or letter.  The risks of Covid-19 infection is still significant so please wear face coverings. Should you feel that you should be exempt from wearing a face covering please download an exemption card.

Coronavirus

Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms.

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

  • a high temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher)
  • a new, continuous cough
  • loss of/change in smell or taste

Do not go to a GP Surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying home.

Urgent advice: Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:

  • you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
  • your condition gets worse
  • your symptoms do not get better after 7 days

Any patients requiring information about testing please go to the government website: https://www.gov.uk/apply-coronavirus-test. Patients who do not have access to or cannot use the internet can call a dedicated phone line, which can be used to order a test if no other options are available.
