From time to time it may necessary for other locum Doctors or Nurse Practitioners to work at the practice in order to maintain appointment levels during periods of leave or sickness.
The Nurse Practitioners
Nurse practitioners are qualified prescribers who are able to undertake full examinations, diagnose illness and treat as appropriate. They can order necessary investigations, screen for disease risk factors and refer to other healthcare workers such as hospital specialists, physiotherapy and counsellors.

Our practice nurse can be seen by appointment. She is available to help you with general medical advice, dressings and injections, removal of stitches, weight control & dietary advice. She works with the Doctors and Nurse Practitioner to provide regular review and supervision of patients who have Diabetes, Asthma, Heart Disease, Hypertension or high blood pressure.

Health Care Assistant
Our practice HCA can be seen by appointment .She is available to help you with Dressings and injections,Diabetic foot checks, New patient checks ,Blood pressure checks and removal of stitches.
The Practice Managers
Our Business Manager is Julia Weal and our Practice manager is Lisa Vernon. They look after the day-to-day running of the Practice and are available to help you with any non-medical problems that you may have regarding the Practice.
The Reception Staff
The receptionists are likely to be the first people you meet at the surgery. They are available to help you in complete confidence. They will make appointments for you, answer your queries, where possible and liaise with the Doctor on your behalf. Please give them as much information as you feel able to do, so that your enquiry may be dealt with as efficiently as possible.
Our District Nurses provide care for patients who are confined to their homes and require nursing assistance. The District Nurses call into the surgery on a daily basis and a message can be left for them via reception.
